I was riding up from texas to tn. back in late feb.'82 and it was COLD.everything i owned strapped on the back.
some where in mississippi i believe i was behind two elderly ladies.the driver had her right turn signal on but every time we came to a crossroads they looked BOTH ways.i was afraid to go around them for several miles but finally we came to a crossroads and they both looked right i figured they were turning right so i went around and they turned LEFT into my path.i locked it down and went skidding sideways up to the drivers side window.
they stopped and were staring at me with their mouths hanging open.i had stopped about 6 inches from them.after waving each other on several times i shut down and told them to go on,that i wasn't going anywhere till they moved.i was lucky that time.the lesson?let them get into the turn so you know which way they're going before you pass.thats pretty simple but when you follow some one like that for several miles it makes you impatient and MAD.and that will get you killed.
